I watched Nikki's book talk, and it was very interesting. She did a good job of making eye contact and her word choice was wonderful. I guess I won't read The Centaur.
I just viewed Nikki's book talk, and it is probably one of my favorites so far. Though more eye-contact could be made, she spoke fluidly and clearly, making the talk a pleasure to watch. She also did a very good job of describing the plot and introducing the characters. I really liked her view of the book, because she described why she disliked it, and backed it up with evidence. Her book talk pursuaded me to avoid the book, because I am in agreement that you shouldn't have to pick apart pages of detail to figure a character out.
