The House on Mango Street- Sam Hirsch

  1. I viewed Sam's video and i thought she had good eye contact and didn't stare at her notecard very many times. I think this book sounds interesting because it is about a girl finding out who she truly is.

  2. I watched Sam Hirshs video of the House on Mango Street. Sam had eye contact but looked at her notecard most of the time. She spoke without pausing and didn't mumble. I would probably read this book because Sam said there were various cultures and it's about not being someone you're not.

  4. I just watched Sam's video and I am really interested in the novel. Sam did a great job explaining the characters and the plot very well. I really like the main theme of the novel and it would be easy to relate to. Im glad you included that in your video. She did continue to look at her notecards...but still had great eye contact!

  5. i think sam did a very good job. She had good eye contact with the camera only breifly looking at her notecards. The book she said sounds very interesting to me. She said it had a good message that i think would benefit me.
